Apple Pie

Ingredients for two pies
Pie Dough (you could make your own of course, which I always use to do until I discovered ready made pie crust.  Love the easiness of it!)
Apples (about 6 for 2 pies)  You could also use canned pie filling, but it's kind of pricey.  If you use canned, you don't need the rest of the ingredients except a bit for topping your crust.
Butter 1/2 cup
Sugar 2/3 cup
Cinnamon 3 Tablespoons

Time:  approximately 70 minutes from start to finish
Wash your apples and slice them all up.  Andy is using our apple slicer.  I hear golden delicious are the best kind of apples to use for pie.  But I use whatever apples are cheapest.
While Andy does that, Charity is getting our butter all melted.
After using the apple slicer, the apples are still a bit thick, so he's slicing them one more time.
 Andy measuring out the sugar.
 Charity pouring in the sugar.
 Charity pouring in the butter.
 Andy sprinkling in the cinnamon.
 Charity stirring it all up.
Place your bottom crust in your pan.

Fill your crust with the apples.
 Get out your top crust.
Place on top and pinch or fold your crusts together.

Make a mini cut in the top of your pie for air to release while baking.
Place in preheated oven at 350 degrees and bake for about 50 minutes.  In the last 10 minutes of baking, we poured on a little more melted butter mixed with a little sugar on top of the pie.
Your finished product.
